Prerequisites:
theMecacyl CRis the complementary hyper-lubricant of all gasoline, diesel, hybrid and gas vehicles.
If your vehicle is in perfect condition, has always been serviced regularly, has no abnormal consumption or leaks of oil, or coolant (in the case ofEGRliquid cooled) you can quite useMecacyl CR with excellent results.
Use:
theMecacyl CRto be used with clean oil after an oil change. If we could not put it after the oil change, it can be added a maximum of 3000 km after an oil change.
Dosage: 2% to 3% of the quantity of oil, i.e. 1 bottle of 100 ml for 4 to 5 liters of oil.
Depending on the number of kilometers or the level of wear of the vehicle, 1 to 2 frequent oil changes may be recommended.
To note:white smoke comes out of the exhaust during the first 10 to 15 kms after introduction of theMecacyl CR. This phenomenon is completely normal:Mecacyl CRremoves water and oxides, an indestructible engine being, among other things, an anhydrous engine.
Frequency of use :
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Maxi 15,000 kms to maintain optimum results.
Possibility if manufacturer oil change 20,000 kms to addMecacyl CR.
On new vehicles:
Put 2% without draining at 5,000 kms according to the procedure defined above.
Return 2% to 3% ofMecacyl CRat the warranty change around 10/12 000 kms.
Return 2% to 3% ofMecacyl CRat each oil change.
On used vehicles:
Vehicle from 50,000 to 100,000 km: Drain after introducing theMecacyl CRat 5,000 kms then resume oil changes at the classic rate withMecacyl CREverytime
Vehicle from 100,000 to 150,000 kms: Oil change at 3,000 km, oil change at 5,000 km then oil changes at the classic rate withMecacyl CREverytime.
Vehicle from 150,000 to 180,000 kms: Oil change at 3,000 km, oil change at 5,000 km and, if necessary, oil change at 8,000 km then oil changes at the conventional rate withMecacyl CREverytime.

15w40 (vehicle before 2000) or 10w40 (vehicle after 2000) type oils are perfectly suitable for frequent oil changes. Then resume the oil changes at the classic rate using theMecacyl CR and the oil of your choice.
On LPG vehicles:
Ditto for gasoline or diesel vehicles.
Every 10,000 to 15,000 km or less or every 12 months.
At best, do an oil change soon after 5000 kms after the first introduction of theMecacyl CRif necessary then resume the oil changes at the classic rate withMecacyl CR every time.
Special case of diesel vehicles:
Vehicles with DPF:
Mecacyl CRcan be used on vehicles with DPF. It always goes in the direction of the protection of the FAP. Observe the above precautions.
Vehicle with EGR valve exchangers or cooler:
Mecacyl CRcan be used on vehicles with EGR. It always goes in the direction of the protection of the EGR.
Specific case:
Some models of diesel vehicles from 2005 are fitted with specific EGR valves (around 6% of the diesels in circulation). These EGR valves are coupled to 1 cooler or exchanger (EGR valve cooled by coolant). If your vehicle is equipped with this type of EGR valve, you cannot use theMecacyl CR.
Other EGR valves do not represent a contraindication.
Oil type:
In order to have a faster installation, oils of the 10W40 or 15W40 type are suitable in 90% of the applications.
In general, all oils based on petroleum polymers are compatible with MECACYL whether they are multigrade, semi-synthesis or synthesis (5W40, 5w30 ..).
